"Transportation using lightweight vehicles such as bicycles or scooters, especially electric ones that may be borrowed as part of a self-service rental program in which people rent vehicles for short-term use within a town or city.

micromobility is seen as a potential solution to moving people more efficiently around cities"

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

I feel like 51 mph is not enough unless you live in the middle of a city and never leave it. In which case you could use the subway or something instead.

Thats in the "boost mode" or whatever its called too. In eco mode it tops out at 36MPH which wouldn't even hit the speed limit of some residential streets around me.

These are essentially just electric scooters with a street bike facade.

Definitely wouldn't work for highway driving.

First electric motorcycle that really interests me. Reasonable price for a commuter, reasonable specs for my kind of commuting, though I'd like a top speed of 70 (my national speed limit, in practice it gives me 10mph of head room on 60 roads. Full motorcyle ergonomics. Lots to like here.

I'm currently keeping a 390 duke as a one bike garage, good compromise between ergo, price, running costs, specs and storage. I don't think any e-motorcyle is suitable as a "one bike", which is why I haven't jumped. But, it is interesting as n+1 option: have the e-commuter and a more specialised toy bike for the weekends.
