I heard Christian on NPR this morning, as well as a mod from ELI5. Seemed like a pretty fair shake.

Great read! Article states that the full conversation will be on Wednesday’s episode of The Vergecast. Will definitely be tuning in.

The weird part about leaving reddit is I find myself using news website like the verge more often.

Good read, but I’m surprised they didn’t mention/focus at all on Huffman’s blackmail comment and double down. That seems like a dead end for any forward movement.

I was surprised to read that if Reddit had cut their ask in half, that would have workable for Christian. I expected that it would have taken an order of magnitude decrease to make financial sense. It really drives home just how unreasonable Reddit is and how dead set they are to kill all 3rd party apps.
