@Facelikeapotato does this pattern rely on the stretch from the jersey? I have a bunch of cotton sheeting (from torn sheets) that I'd like to repurpose ๐Ÿค”

I haven't made them myself yet, but the creator does only recommend knit fabric. However, I did find these yesterday that are suitable for woven fabrics: https://lifesewsavory.com/womens-wide-leg-pants-free-pdf-pattern/

You can try cutting the pattern on the bias (the fabric on a 45 degree angle). Then you have some stretch.
