What do you mean by leaving your server if you don't mean deleting your account?
Account deletion should be possible with the button at the bottom of your settings.

i tried to delete but its unsuccessful and seems to just refresh the page
I suggest you to ask on the main community of the instance you want to leave (sh.itjust.works => [email protected])
Alternatively on [email protected] if your instance administrator can't help
You can create accounts at multiple servers. You don’t need to “leave”
creating a new account in a server requires an email account, the same email account cant be used between servers as it just says something like "username or password doesnt exist". it doesnt make sense but thats what happens.
Nothing prohibits using the same email account on different servers. The servers don’t “talk” to each other in that way
Accounts cannot currently be moved to a different server, they can be deleted though.
