There was a significant gold mine in Diamond Creek. I'm sure the line there branched off to the mine once upon time. It's a shame they could not keep it intact for tourism purposes.
Yeah he hints at it towards the end of the video - would love to explore some of the remnants one day.
I used to work for V/Line, nice to see some local train content.
Always interested in the suburban train lines in Melbourne, been following Straya Train's video series on the lines too. Will there be a community for the trains?
