I went to this museum and while most of it was good albeit very somber, one exhibition was somehow still rabidly anticommunist.

The Struggle Continues was a documentary and what little I caught of it it was like pure undistilled Cold War propaganda to the point that Hitler was equated with the tyrannical Soviets and Chinese. For this video the “struggle continued” after defeating nazism to then combat communism. It even went as far as saying the Americans liberated the concentration camps implying that they did the only liberating.

In another area in that same exhibit there were various stories of people who had been trafficked. One was the story of a teenager who had been trafficked to Florida to pick tomatoes and it ended with him being freed from his captors….but after obtaining “freedom” he still picked tomatoes and he was only given a temporary visa.

This particular exhibit was so lib brained I almost couldn’t handle it. The other exhibits on slavery, the civil war, reconstruction were so much better.
