Hey guys,

Been trying to use the Super Audio Cart VST with FL Studio on Linux, and can get FL and Kontakt player running using Bottles, but Kontakt doesn't seem to see Super Audio Cart in it's library.

What I want to ask you guys is has anyone got Kontakt libraries properly working with FL using Wine/Bottles, or, would I have better luck running the whole thing inside a VM?

Thanks!

Just remember that bottles doesn’t store it’s data in the same directory as wine (or in ~/.wine/drive_c) instead it uses its own drive_c directory. Make sure you’re placing the VST within the bottles folders. I found a similar error when patching FL Studio license, it wouldn’t apply so I had to run the regedit.exe within the bottles environment so it could ‘apply the registry changes’ to my bottles regedit.

Im installing everything using Bottles though, just via the run executable Burton on the fl studio bottle's page. I have noticed after installing Kontakt via native instruments, I will be unable to reopen it after closing, with errors about how it can't find concrt and another dll file. But adding these to the bottle's system32 doesn't fix this..
