This whole thing with the Sikh independence movement is why I can't ever see Jagmeet Sigh becoming prime minister. And it's another good reason why religion doesn't have its place in politics.

He is not even worth being considered as a Prime Minister. I will be downvoted if I called him a Terrorist.

I wouldn't go to that extent.

There's a lot of kind hearted amazing Sikh people though. Same thing with Muslims, Jewish or even Christians. Or any other religion.

However, when values and ideals are put on the table to make decisions about a country and the freedoms of its people, I can't trust any devout religious person to make an unbiased decision or to not push their religious values on the nation.

Oh certainly. Sikh people are amazing and I have a lot of awesome Sikh friends. But in case of JS, actively supporting a ideology or organization that has resorted to extreme violence time and again is not something I can see PM of Canada doing.
