RULES

  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
  4. Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on [email protected]
  5. Keep it clean and SFW
  6. No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

Hello everyone,

As we moved here, I was thinking to recreate the regular threads using https://schedule.lemmings.world/

The ones we had on Lemm.ee were

  • Music Monday - What have you been listening to?
  • Cheerful Tuesday - What made you smile or laugh?
  • Hobbies Wednesday - What have you been doing?
  • Thursday - How is your week going?
  • Friday - What are your plans for the week-end?
  • Saturday - What have you watched this week?
  • Pets Sunday

First of all, do you have any ideas of other weekly threads that we could have?

Second, I am looking for other people to "own" the weekly threads, this community is your as well, after all!

@[email protected] offered to handle the Sunday one, would any of you be interested in posting any of the other ones?

You can just use https://schedule.lemmings.world/ to schedule the post with a weekly recurrence.

The happy one on Tuesday would probably be a good fit for you, thank you for volunteering!

hey! new to this community, love the weekly posts ideas, but what do you mean to "own" them? like, to mod, or boost, or guide them?

thanks, and sorry for the ignorance!

Hello!

Just to create a scheduled recurring post using https://schedule.lemmings.world/ It would also mean ensuring that those get created, so keeping an eye on them and recreating the scheduled post if needed.

It's not much, but that would help me a lot!

if you don't mind, you can put me for one of those! I can handle Thursday or Friday, as you prefer or need

trying to use it right now, and having trouble logging in with my piefed account, will keep trying in a few minutes

@[email protected] its giving me this error when trying to log in with my piefed account

Oops! An Error Occurred

The server returned a "500 Internal Server Error".

It lets me with a lemmy.world account, but i think it would be better trying with my piefed one, right?

Oh, the tool probably doesn't support Piefed instances yet. I would suggest to use your LW account as a starter, you can always revisit later once the scheduler dev has time to implement Piefed support
