I wonder how many people went this path because of sign
Desire Paths
Desire paths Desire paths can be paths created as a consequence of erosion caused by human or animal foot-fall or traffic. The paths usually represent the shortest or most easily navigated routes between origins and destinations. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desire_path
haha I was wondering the same. The sign is very robust and aggressive, so I wondered if there were earlier versions people still ignored.
I mean, if i will see this kind of sign, i would go this way even if it's gonna make my path longer.
I am exactly that level of petty
denial path
I liked this so much, I actually updated the title 😆
what was the previous title?
It's not about the 1-2 meters you don't have to walk, it's about the sharp turn. That wears your soles down and slows you. Can't have that. If they'd adapted and created banked corners, people would follow their path for sure.
Cool of them to provide a sign that gives you a tiny rebellion high. The city must really value civil disobedience.
😈
Problem is, the path leads into a fence. Or at least that's what it looks like to me from the angle in the photo?
Doesn't it directly lead to the pedestrian crossing?
