But is this really monkey's paw mechanics and not Djinn?
Afaik, the recoil of the paw is that how you wish gets archived is messed up and with Djinn it is how the result is designed.
Possible that I mixed the tow up, so maybe someone can explain it.
I think monkey paw is “you get exactly what you wished for, but it turns out there are consequences with that wish you didn’t want.” Like when Lisa wishes for world peace, and she gets it, but that allows aliens to invade later.
