Watched Up for the first time tonight and I couldn’t help but think: why didn’t Carl use the balloons to fly him and Ellie to Paradise Falls while she was still alive? I couldn’t help but feel bummed for Ellie throughout the movie - it was her lifelong dream to go there and he had the means to do it this whole time?! Did I miss a key scene that explained this?
