What Is This Bug?

Yesterday my son noticed these bugs on our keyboard. There were dozens in total. The pictures were the biggest ones. They were maybe the size of a ballpoint pen ball in total diameter (much flatter, obviously).

I assumed they were spiders. Wiped them up. And dumped them in the garbage outside.

Then I noticed dozens more, much smaller, still, along the piano.

I those up, too, this time with rubbing alcohol hoping pick them up and even kill them off.

But now I’m worried they were seed ticks?? Yuck.

Anyway. Anyone know for sure? This is in Wisconsin.

I have a couple more pics, but they aren’t much better. I should have taken a video…

It's hard to tell from this picture but how do they compare to these?

Follow this link where they describe more about stink beetles

Hard to tell, but at some angles they look to have antenna and 3 sets of legs— ruling arachnids out and making your stink bug proposal more plausible.

I agree. The front appendages could definitely be antenna (hence the tick fear).

Stink bugs would make sense we get a ton of those assholes…but internet says the 1st instar are 2.4mm. These were more like 1/1.5 mm for the bigger ones. Much smaller for the smaller ones.

Ticks (and spiders) have all legs comming off the front part of the body that usually people refere to as the head (although i am sure it has a special name)

The ones you have seen to have legs across most of the body that also seems to be made in one piece
