That is a stunning photo. I adore the optical illusion, in which the cove appears to be above the level of the ocean. I'd love to see this view first-hand. Bravo!

For photos of beautiful, still-inhabited locales! It can be a quick snapshot of your local town, a breathtaking pro photo of a city, or a pic of some fascinating piece of modern life.
The only real rule is that it must be an actively inhabited/used location (ie not ruins or natural locales). Otherwise, go wild. Anything that you find beautiful or interesting!

Ooh that's what's going on, I thought this was a Faroe Island type thing.
Nnnnnggg. The mostly-empty bowl area in the front of the picture - for some reason, when I saw that, my brain went back years ago, when I first learned that the Mediterranean used to be mostly empty and then the Strait of Gibraltar broke open and the entire Mediterranean flooded and filled up in a matter of months. For some reason, that mental image has always terrified me, the relentless water pouring in and chasing down everything in it's path.
And for some reason, that bowl-depression in the foreground brought that back to mind. Is s fantastic picture, and I won't thank you for the returning nightmares :/
I'd go for the lulz. It's definitely lulworthy.
