When Judas Priest split with Rob Halford in the 90's they picked up a vocalist in Tim "Ripper" Owens and subsequently released two albums of questionable quality - the Priest that old time fans knew was gone. However some time in the 00's Halford got back with the group to explosive success, nowhere near as great as Painkiller, but Judas Priest was back.

Anyway, after long time guitarist KK Downing got kicked out of the band in 2011, seems he kept in touch Tim Owens and eventually decided to release a couple of albums, definitely trying emulate more Judas Priest, hence the name lol. This is the opening track of their second album, once again another speed metal track. Now I'm definitely more of a JP fanboy but if this breeds competition, we all win with more music in the end.

Damn, looks like I've found the line lol.

lmao, idk why no upvotes haha. I've only just got round to listening to it haha. Personally not a fan of it, vocals sound like a bad Halford impression. Also ig it is teetering on the edge of speed metal, the only possible reason I have for lack of upvotes. Might have done better in heavymetal community. It's a shame the only heavy metal community we have is dead. I might try to take over that community. Would you post there?

Possibly! Maybe like once a week, like I do the other metal communities I post to. I don't have that much heavy metal material outside the classics and the recent discoveries I made, but posting once a week would at least last me a few months lol.

[email protected]'s mod hasnt been around for a couple years but the community is small but fairly active and loyal.

[email protected] is definitely active but they only really like specific kinds of death metal or only full albums or.. idk I haven't figured it out yet.

[email protected] is always gonna be there, I feel. But if you were to take over [email protected] I could always post random experimental shit in the former, could be interesting!

Thanks. I did consider trying to mod [email protected], since I know it has no active moderation (not a good position for a community, even with a small following), but it didn't feel right since my knowledge of the genre is comparatively limited. At least with heavymetal I have enough content to last at least a few months, posting at least every few days.

Hell yea, we could give it a good run, at least for a little while lol.
