Now that's a surprise, though Sega has been very hush hush about their new revivals, to this day there's barely any content, just a single trailer.
I finished both Ecco games the hard way, by calling the Sega hotline to get the solutions.
Great games, great music. I even still pull out Ecco Jr for my 4 year old daughter. So many memories of playing it with my cousins during Christmas holidays.
I don’t think these games need a remaster, but I still play the originals. I think the current crowd of young gamers probably struggle with it.
I played the original only at a playable genisis setup at an appliance store close to school.
Or was hard to figure out how it worked as there was no manual and everybody got to play one life. For how simple the game looked it was quite challenging and deep.
There is a parallel with Subnautica. It starts out friendly and simple but got dark and tense quite suddenly.
