So I just finished Island in the Net and I’m not sure that I got the propos

I feel that there’s something behind the book, something I cannot put my finger on.

Is it a tale against globalization? Is Rizome was the bad guy all along? Am I not old enough to understand a 88 book ?

I've found Bruce Sterling hit or miss. Really loved Schismatrix and Distraction was interesting. But I couldn't get through Heavy Weather.

Yeah Schismatrix had somewhat de same vibe but it have an end with a clear idea of what the book means.

I have no idea what it's about.

There's a lot of older scifi that has not stood the test of time yet is still somehow intriguing.
