The first season of the anime adaptation can be found on Netflix. Season 2 is confirmed and presumably currently in production.

DO NOT SPOIL THE ANIME WATCHERS

This is so that the anime watchers can sub to the community without worry of seeing posts that would spoil later parts of the story. This includes manga pages and panels, mentioning characters, fanart, etc.

Parent instance rules also apply, of course.

Accounting for another meme image, is Laios on the spectrum? Can he read facial cues? Or is he just dense?

I think both Laios and Falin are on the spectrum, from what I've seen of them in the show.

I'm on the spectrum and while the author doesn't confirm it, I do believe Laios has ASD. Hell, he even stims

Huh, interesting, TIL. But when does he do this?

Right before fighting the living armor 1 on 1

I guess I'll have to rewatch that episode!

And meme images aren't exactly a good source to judge

I've seen a ton of people who are, say he is extremely relatable to them.

That said, it's never made explicitly clear in the story, but there is a ton of overlap with the real-world experiences that people have.

This is not the comment section I was expecting. I read this as Laios/Marcelle and we were all about to talk about how weird it is to see fanart of her being straight.

Quite a lot of us ship her with Laios, actually.

Just not a lot of the fanartists.

Either way it's a pretty similar relationship dynamic

[–] [email protected] 2 points 6 days ago

True. I suspect the difference is that most fans are anime-onlys, and the first half of the story had a lot of Falin x Marcy moments.

We did get some Marcy x Laios stuff, but it's in the second half of the story where things indicating that something might be there, really start happening.

And, by the end, Laios and Marcy will be two of a very few to have shared experience on something which would seriously trauma-bond the two of them in particular.

laios is literally the most autistic character that there is in anything ever
