If that card is running that hot and you're not gaming, you've got something else going on.

Do you need a graphics card for your use?
yeah, no integrated graphics. hmmm. i guess i could swap out the cpu for a cpu with integrated graphics. i had not considered that option before.
Maybe that card doesn't have it, but some cards have the ability to step down their activity, like an idle parameter. Also, It shouldn't be producing a lot of heat if it's not doing work. I had a laptop years ago that used to constantly heat up and run the fans a lot. Once I got time to open it up to clean it, I discovered the heatsink had come loose from the CPU. Fixing that made it very quiet.
thanks for the feedback, i'll have to see if there is some kind of idle parameter, it does seem to produce a lot of heat even when its not doing much.
Does your setup have an igpu? All igpus are fine for video/web browsing.
I’d probably look at intel b570 if I had to buy a gpu and the driving factor was heat.
You could also try under clocking/under volting your current gpu.
no integrated graphics. i will look at the b570. thank you!
Rx 7600 is pretty good from what I hear.
