Bit of a boring race. Spiciest moment was at the pit lane exit between Verstappen and Norris, and F1TV broadcast screwed it up and switched cameras when it happened.

From memory, isn't this one of the races where the world feed is done by the local organisers and not F1 itself? I seem to remember Japan is usually bad for missing stuff and cutting to the wrong this

Think the drivers in the cool down room summed the race up well!

I believe this is the first year that's not the case in Japan, and FOM did the media this time

Ah yeah I vaguely remember this too, in which case it was no improvement really was it

Max deserved the win. Felt pretty much like last year? Does lance stroll even want to be there anymore?

Stroll is kinda my least favourite driver.

I would rather someone who's competitive get a seat.

But of course he will stay there for as long as he wants - it's just annoying but I welcome every P20 he gets

Hard to care about Yuki/Lawson with Hajar kicking ass.

Uff, watching this race really didn't feel like time well spent.

It was really underwhelming how uninspired the McLaren strategy was as Palmer on F1TV rightfully pointed out. They really didn't make it difficult at all for Red Bull to cover off both drivers. And Piastri not getting the chance to attack Max was sad to see. He was faster than Norris at that stage. You can always swap them back if it doesn't work out.

Classic Suzuka race to be honest. The track is unbelievably awesome and qualy is a treat, but it's so so hard to overtake here. Pirelli miscalculating with the compounds again is getting tiring as well. A two stopper would have maybe created some openings.

Impressed by several of the rookies, thought both Hadjar and Bearman were great and Antonelli continues to quietly impress. He was very fast today.

Really disappointed by McLaren of course, but maybe their schtick will be to once again go hard on the propaganda that the WCC is actually what matters. Maybe it wouldn't have mattered in the end, but would have liked to see them split their strategies or at least let Piastri have a go at Max.

RIP to the folks who have to make the Race in 30 edit.

It's mostly going to be 25 minutes of people running off the chicane, and Lando mowing the lawn.

Boring and basic race.

Albon is still ahead of Hamilton in the points.

I've watched China and Japan this year. One arguably more boring than the next

I'm baffled why McLaren didn't keep Norris out for a bit longer and run in some clean air? Was very surprised to see him pit at the same time as Verstappen.
