It’s an exploit that breaks the the sandbox that isolates tabs on the browser. Kaspersky suspects it would then be used in conjunction with another unspecified exploit to achieve remote code execution.

The article’s title now reads “After Chrome patches zero-day used to target Russians, Firefox splats similar bug”
