I have some questions because I recently started watching so I may have missed a lot of details.

-Why do people give birth in a severed cabin, is it to forget the pain of birth?

-How did Irving get all that info on Lumon employees?

-I thought Mark had his chip removed but he seems to not be reintegrated.

-What is the small bottles of baby food in Marks refrigerator?

-Is it ever mentioned what Lumon produces/sells today other than ether?

-Is it ever mentioned or explained how Lumon/Kier went from business owner to cult figure?

I'm not sure if this stuff has been explained and I missed it or if it's purposely left vague for the mystery.

  1. This is from S1, it is indeed to forget the pain of birth.
  2. We don’t know.
  3. Not removed. It was flooded in fluid so that the reintegration process could continue more smoothly, but it’s still there. My understanding of reintegration is that it’s paused right now and Mark has to work with Raghabi to continue it.
  4. Unknown, but something that’s supposed to help him with reintegration.
  5. No, not really? But you see stuff with their name and logo on it everywhere. The blood donation machines from the episode about Gemma’s past, etc.
  6. Not really.

Thanks. I thought I had missed the info. I do seem to miss a lot though cause the discussions about symbolism are things I either didn't notice or they went over my head.

Yeah, I miss a lot of the symbolism too. My brain notices continuity and details, but often misses the more symbolic side like how they use color, and things like that.

I think you have to rewatch it immediately to see some of it but I've never enjoyed doing that.

My brain just isn’t tuned to look out for that stuff, no matter how many times I watch it, haha.

About Irving, it's the kind of question the show purposefully doesn't spend time answering because it wouldn't be interesting. It's enough that we know his outie was on a mission to investigate Lumon. Knowing the details wouldn't make the show better, unless that was one of the main plot lines.

I guess we'll have to wait and see now.

I don't know but enjoy the pain of not knowing anything about this great show. Have fun!

The waiting is the worst part. Will it be as long for season 3?

Saw somewhere that Stiller said it won't take as long. Hoping it's true!

Hopefully works out that way.
