Found this while thrifting. The cable is for a sennheiser hd 203 headphones. Even having the headphones I cant find anything about this cable online.

Doesn’t look like an XLR. There’s no L, for starters. Some screw sleeve instead.

Looks like a proprietary 4pin XLR connector. Search for "Sennheiser 4 pin cable" if you need a replacement.

Might be a 4 pin M8 plug (sensor /actor cable) given the size. I think xlr is larger.

It's an M-something. M8, like you said, is more likely.

And yes, XLR is larger. I use them for my audio stuffs.
