@[email protected] ist halt nur blöd wenn man auf manche Apps fast angewiesen ist und diese nicht auf GrapheneOS laufen oder geblockt werden. Ich finde GrapheneOS schon extrem gut, aber sind zum Teil ja auch abhängig von Google.
@[email protected] Ich bin eher besorgt, dass Mobilgeräte vorausgesetzt werden, weil man meint Services nur als exklusive App anbieten zu müssen.
@[email protected] - schön wäre wenn man GraphenOS auf andere Android Smartphone installieren könnte.
@[email protected] ich bin ja wirklich von der Hardware und der Ideologie ein Fan von #Fairphone - aber ich denke das nächste Phone wird ein Pixel werden, und zwar einzig und alleine nur wegen #GrapheneOS
Hab mein perfekt funktiorendes pixel 5 gegen ein pixel 9 eingetauscht, einzig und allein, weil das 5er keine updates von GrapheneOS mehr bekommt.
Das traurige daran ist, sobald ich die Google services nachinstalliere, weil einige Banking Apps das brauchen, passiert bestimmt das gleiche wie im Artikel beschrieben. Fuck Google!

grundsätzlich müsste jedes handy mit frei wählbarem OS bzw. mit zumindest einem OHNE Tracking angeboten werden.
Told you so! Die Datenschutz-Einstellungen im Google-Konto? Eine Farce. Sie suggerieren Kontrolle, während im Hintergrund fleißig getrackt wird — Werbecookies, Android ID, ungefragtes "SafetyCore"-Feature. Privatsphäre bei Google? Ein leeres Versprechen. In Wirklichkeit wird alles abgesaugt, was technisch machbar ist.

gibt's eigentlich für die ganzen Google Dienste Protobuffer Definitionen um zu sehen was während der Ersteinrichtung verschickt wird?
@[email protected] wenn uns Verbraucher doch bloß jemand beschützen würde. Eine große mächtige Institution ohne direkte Gewinnabsichten. So eine Art "Schutz für den Verbraucher" nur mit prägnantem kürzeren Namen.
Wenn es so etwas schönes doch nur geben würde schmacht aber, leider leider, gibt es da so gar nichts, weder auf nationaler noch auf europäischer Ebene.
