They should lead the pushback but they look like spectators.

They just plain don't care because they clearly think what's happening won't affect them.
The follow-up question any competent journalist should as every politician is “And therefore you will do what?”
They're all terrified of losing access. Especially now, after the AP got booted from the press pool.
It's funny how this meeting included "shouting and fingerpointing", but Rubio had a complete "meltdown" in his interview. This description is accurate, but you'd think this would be described more along the lines "Trump and Zelensky murder each other's children while declaring a blood feud" in comparison.
All the Democrats should be saying this.
Where's the lie though?
Also there House of Representatives, the Senate, the Supreme Court and about half of the state legislatures.
All are extensions of the Putin regime.
