Hey guys I'm back with yet another RAM question.

Again, not really an OC specific problem, but you guys are just more knowledgable than the other part of the internet.

I want to upgrade the RAM for my laptop which is specified at 1.2V SODIMM 2933 MHz. In particular I have these two kits bookmarked:

Mushkin Redline SO-DIMM Kit 32GB, DDR4-2933, CL17-19-19-39 - MRA4S293HKKF16GX2

Corsair Vengeance SO-DIMM Kit 32GB, DDR4-2933, CL19-19-19-47 - CMSX32GX4M2A2933C19

Multiple questions:

Are these single or dual rank? Is it true that 16GB modules are a 50/50 chance and 32 GB modules are likely going to be dual rank?

Does the higher tRAS (47) on the Corsair kit play a role in performance in relation to the other timings, e.g. slowdown in itself?

My current RAM (Kingston HP32D4S2S8ME-16 modules) is interestingly a 3200 kit running at 2933, yet there are no RAM settings in the BIOS. Could I therefore also get a 3200 kit and it will automatically run at 2933 if it's specified in the JEDEC or is that heavily RAM module dependant?

Maybe you guys have suggestions for other RAM kits I missed?

Thank you for your answers!
