Kinnickinnick Foods was originally Edmonton-vased, and has recently been sold to English Bay foods out of BC.
Am U. S. citizen. I don't have an answer, just want to wish my Canadian neighbors the best. FWIW, if you have an aldi or lidl nearby they probably have some gluten free options. The Aldi I shop at does and both companies are German based. Not Canadian, but also not U. S.
Fody is a Canadian company (not sure what percentage of their products are made in Canada or not though). Their lineup is targeted at people with IBS, but that includes being GF.
There's a lot of good smaller-brand bread brands. As mentioned in another comment. Though because they're smaller they have a smaller reach so it some what depends on what part of the country you're in. So what province are you in?
Also I was looking this morning for some gluten free oats/flour brands and came up empty handed. My house heavily relies on Bob's Red Mill
