The military has already been trying to "do more with less" This doesn't seem like a great idea when war with China is right around the corner. Especially with the mess that is navy procurement. It's actually a contrary to Republican policy goals to cut a lot of these employees. It seems to me like this hasn't been thought through at all. They could go for the furniture funds and end of year waste, but instead they're going to cut out some of the best talent.

Looks like the DoD will have lots of money for furniture and won't be able to target anything or fix anything. It's going to cause fatigue to many of our men and women in uniform.
