I watched Into the Deep (2025).
Under no circumstance ever watch this.
Wolf Man looked nice and was well acted but boy it was boring
Nothing this week but Paddington 3 last week.
Cloud Atlas (2012) - Ridiculously great movie ɓy the Wachowskis.
In the past week, I've watched:
Paddington in Peru (theater)
Moonstruck
The Gorge
Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse
Cape Fear
The Monkey (theater)
I'd say both The Monkey and Paddington in Peru are among my favorite 2025 movies so far (though it's early obv).
Moonstruck is always great, watched it with my fiancée for Valentines Day.
The Gorge was pretty mediocre with some interesting bits, but it just didn't work for me overall.
Spiderman was great; idk why I hadn't seen it yet but I love how the newer animated Spiderman movies experiment with different art styles.
Cape Fear was good. I loved how unhinged De Niro was in this.
e: bloody markdown
The Duchess, would have liked more politics in it
none. all anime series this last week.
Arcadian.
I loved that so much was not explained, especially about the monsters.
(mild spoilers) Going through the Jurassic World movies with my dino-loving son. Quite liked the first one but my god Fallen Kingdom was awful. Somehow made killer dinosaurs and exploding volcanoes really lame and dull. My son loved it, though the raptor in the house stuff gave him nightmares, and the bronti in the fog made him cry.
I took my eldest to see Dog Man in theatres. All I can say is — it’s certainly a movie. I was bored out of my mind, but my kid was laughing his pants off.
