I am looking to get a cheap $500 PC for my fiancée who will be working in in some graphic design and animation software. Not blender or 3D rendering but 2D hand drawn animation.

I found 2 PCs in my price range and wanted your opinion on which would be better. We are on a tight budget so I want to pick the cheaper one but the more expensive one is temping. I was told a GTX card is better for graphic design but I’m not sure on the different between the GTX and RTX card offered in the two systems.

$475

  • ryzen 5 3600
  • GTX 1070
  • gigabyte x570 motherboard
  • 16GB DDR4

$550

  • intel I7 9700
  • RTX 2060
  • gigabyte b365m ds3h motherboard
  • 32 GB DDR4

I mainly just want to know if the $475 is overpriced or if the $550 is underpriced and which system would be worth investing into. Thanks for your input on this!
