I actually like Elon Musk, but brah, that was 100 percent a nazi salute. Not cool. Not cool at all.
He needs to explain or step down. And I don't see any way that can be explained away. I mean, you have to TRY to do that. There is not a salue in the world that has you beat your chest, then hold your palm out. He can't even say it was an accident!
Before watching the vid, I thought may he was just pointing out in the crowd, and people mistook it, but nah, that was full-on nazi salute.
He did have some jewish people defending him tough. From the article:

Oh yes, the Nazi gets up in front of the world, deliberately gives a Nazi salute but now should reconsider and apologize? Why, because "mistakes" were made. That's where you draw the line but an apology would be fine?

I don't approve of nazi messaging, or his use of what appeared to be a nazi salute.
But brah, at the end of the day, I'm not his boss. You can want him gone all you want, and I can want him to apologize all I want, but neither you nor me have the power to make that happen.

First: I don't approve of Nazis. Never have, never would. Never have suggested anything close to supporting Nazis in any of my postings across any instance. My gf's Jewish, so it's annoying seeing Lemmy just say "Nazi" anytime they see something they don't like. You are downplaying the actual horror that was the Nazi regime.
Second: You know I'm not a bot. But for some strange reason, you thought that zinger would upset me. It doesn't.

Right? He's a babyllionaire-nazi white supremacist but he's no Hitler lol.
This guy as so much work ethic he's the ceo of three company - he bought -, he's also the number one gamer in the world in multiple games, a great father to a dozen kids, and h3 even find the time to tweet about 50 times a day (from multiple accounts). On top of that, he manage to do nazi salute on national tv during his free time.
