I've got OpenSUSE running on my Steam Deck.

Not because of any special gaming prowess. Just because I prefer it.

Had some issues with it getting the Nvidia Drivers, and the packages are named weirdly personally.

Edit: they explain it in the blog I wish I knew this when I tried opensuse
