Albertan here. We can always count on Smith to make Ford sound like a statesman.

Get ready to get fucked over for the next 4 to 8 years by both sides of the boarder.

Canada should have kept self sufficiency as a high priority but having the US next door is just too tempting for the parasitic management and political class. Staying financially independent would have cost too many bonuses, kickbacks and bribes.

edit: a letter

The one where he's got a penthouse and is married to Marty's mom? That explains it.

Only way I can figure things have worked out they way they did. Well I mean, only way that doesn't involve many people with ill intentions getting everything set in place on a generational scale to hoard wealth and foment conflicts globally to sell arms and secure resources to hoard even more wealth....but that doesn't seem right. Pretty sure it's that Biff stole the almanac and fucked shit up for everyone....

In the communique signed by 12 of the premiers and Trudeau, the first ministers said they will do all they can to stop Trump from slapping tariffs on Canadian goods in the first place — even if time is running out with the president-elect set to be sworn in next Monday.

There was a note appended to that document stating that "the government of Alberta did not approve the joint statement."
