I should really take that to heart too but I just can't help myself ;w;
No, you shouldn't. I was just feeling emotional and shared a meme I made a while back, but didn't feel like posting at the time. You should allow yourself to get attached and break your heart, if only because you deserve to be loved ❤
Update from a few days later: Yeah... I got attached and obsessed with someone (ó﹏ò。)
It might be better to pursue it and eventually be honest with them. As you learn more about their flaws, they will stop being an unreachable figure, and start to become a person you understand. At the same time, you don't need to hide your feelings as much (they might pick up on them, as like me, you probably suck at being sneaky). They'll feel respected and understood, especially if you make it clear that you'll accept a rejection.
That said, only try this if you can spend a lot of time with them. If you can't see each other very often, it would be hard for even a super charismatic person to form a meaningful bond. If they give a rude rejection to someone being so honest and vulnerable, you deserved better. If they give a kind rejection, you can move on and might be able to stay as friends. All potential options are better than the alternative, so be brave!
This advice (that I have never tried) should be taken with a handful of salt. I just looked at what didn’t work for me in the past, and assumed my anxieties then were totally counter productive. If someone was obsessed with me, I'd want them to behave this way. I want others to show me respect as an equal person, not hate themselves while seeing me as perfect.
I'm ignorant about this – AMAB people who've undergone HRT experience the same hormonal flux as people with uteruses? Does that come with cramps, sickness, libido changes, etc? I guess it can vary from person to person and/or what age someone underwent HRT?
Please correct me if I'm misusing terms! Totally honest questions.
I believe humanity is still very naive about our own brain, hormones and pheromones affect wildly understudied.
I am convinced every person regardless of sex have cycles running all the time, its just usually a lot more subtle and blended in with everything else affecting us.
There might even be an argument that female menstruation is only so pronounced because there was an evolutionary benefit to having a basic understanding of reproductive patterns.
Yeah pretty much.
I'm currently in my hormonal cycle and I'm feeling pretty sick and needy and while cramps are rare (at least for me), they do happen for some odd reason and even researchers don't really know why.
Btw even cis guys have a hormone cycle but it usually doesn't have an effect like with estrogen.
(Also since you've asked, please don't use my words and stuff as a reference to how to use terms in the situation... English isn't my first language sadly)
Do you have a sauce in thede numbers?
amount of blood per period: https://www.menstrual-matters.com/bloodloss/ (35 - 40ml, i took the higher estimate, sources for the values at the bottom)
amount of periods in total: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2244694/ (451.3, rounded down to 450)
40ml * 450 = 18000ml = 18l
I can't find the original numbers for average blood content in a human but the general consensus seems to be that it's between 4.5 and 5.5. It doesn't really matter though since, even if we say that you'd sacrifice 4 people with only 4.5l of blood, you'd still reach your desired 18l of sacrificial blood.
Having never experienced or observed menstruation, i think its hilarious that there's dudes squeamish about that little blood lol; I've had that much just from nosebleeds! 40ml is not that much
True but it's not only blood. Source 1 says it's 70-80ml of fluids, 35-40ml of which is blood.
Regardless, as someone who has an almost obsessive fascination with our beautiful red fluid, the idea of someone being squeamish about blood is wild to me
Never lived with a woman? Like not even a mom, sister, or aunt?
Separate bathroom from parents, otherwise? Nope.
thx
