Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Dopo aver con successo e soddisfazione convertito il mio vecchio MacbookPro a Linux (precisamente con ⁨@ufficiozero⁩ ) ora mi piacerebbe convertire anche il mio MacMini M1 affiancando Linux a macOs. Da ciò che leggo in giro, al momento non sembra possibile. Qualcuno ha idea se prima o poi (e quando) questo sarà possibile?

Esiste una distro di Linux fatta specificamente per i Mac con Apple Silicon, se non conosci Asahi Linux dai un'occhiata qui: https://www.maketecheasier.com/install-asahi-linux-on-m1-mac/ . Nota: Non posso testarlo perché non ho un Mac M1, tanto vale provare
