I feel like naming your YouTube channel "Channel 5" and making your logo look like a news organization is pretty sketchy. I watched the first couple minutes of this thinking it was an actual news channel before checking the rest of this dudes videos.

What would you call a feed delivering investigative journalism, on the ground reporting on current events, interviews with important people and regular citizens alike? Maybe like some kind of “channel” for “news”? Wait no “Channel Five News” cause five is the best number.
I get what your saying and point taken. I'm just much more critical of a single individual with no oversight, or checks and balances in place for the content that they put out. I'm also well aware of the irony of that statement when most MSM are spoon fed a script to read.
You’ve got a point there too. Nothing is entirely unbiased, and he definitely leans left. However the entire schtick is kinda, give a person a microphone and let them say their piece. He spends an equal amount of time at Free Palestine rallies and Proud Boys conventions, very rarely dubbing in disclaimers about the validity of a statement the interviewee made.
And recently he’s started including guest reporters, like a Mexico native to talk to the workers and patrons of a red light district near the border, and citizens in Israel and Palestine interviewing the respective populations to get some insight into their feelings on the genocide.
In conclusion, it’s good content and good journalism. Give it a chance some time!
Thanks for the quick summery of this guys channel. I skimmed through his videos earlier and he seems like a legit journalist, his formatting just threw up some red flags. Call it being overly cynical i guess from all the bad faith disinformation channels popping over the past 5 years or so.
It’s owned by Tim Heidecker now, and had to be renamed for legal reasons from “All Gas No Brakes” to “Channel 5”, like the “Cinco” network from the Tim and Eric Awesome Show.
