The county has a hell of a lot of "deferred maintenance" that has piled up since 2002. $31.6M won't even put a dent in it but hopefully, they can deal with the worst of it.

I've never encountered any sort of anti-adblock with Urban Milwaukee, even before I started supporting it with a subscription. What ad blocker are you using?

I have a pihole, which is a network-wide dns-based adblocker. Very robust (partially because every time I actually do see an ad, I manually block the dns that served it), and causes this a lot.

I got a full screen cover that said “we are blocking your Adblock” and telling me to make an account, which.. no thanks. :)
