I’ve added the pocket journal because of the forced return to office. I don’t really use a future log or index, so I’ll probably remove those and use it more for collections. I’m not sure where I saw it, maybe “Matt” on YouTube about making a weekly task list and only pull the tasks into the daily log when you’re going to do it. Keeps from repeating it and being discouraged from journaling. I’ve really been trying to go as “analog” as possible. I hope your community gains more traction

Welcome to the community!
Keeping a weekly list sounds like a good option, specially for those who have issue with the repetitive aspect of the journal. Personally, I prefer repeating the tasks, if it repeats multiple time, it just means I need to reevaluate it's priority, or schedule it for some other time. Of course, you can't do it if it's your work task, those need to be done no matter how late they get. So, that's another good use case.
