Probably got them into this mess too. People almost always get overconfident out here and drive too fast with 4WD vehicles even if their tires are shit, and 4wd makes no difference when your coefficient of friction against the ground is zero.
Every single vehicle in the ditch is universally a pickup truck or an awd/4wd SUV.
Got hit in my 4WD car by a 2WD one after I and plenty others stopped safely in icy conditions. I think idiots are allowed to drive every kind of car.
I always try to remind newer drivers that 4 wheel drive doesn’t mean 4 wheel stop. Ice is slippery no matter what you have for tires unless you have chains on.
Now they got that side wheel drive.
