Us city brings mass publicity to adding googly eyes to statues and will likely be surprised to see an uptick in googly eye additions

Pfft, the post is flagged in "cringe redditors LARPing as h4x0rz" News. Of course it is; you aren't supposed to talk about curious but intellectually stimulating news there, such as public behaviour. No, Hacker News is not for that, it's for people who want to fellate tech bros and their idiocy.

Anyway. Why doesn't the city create some statues so residents can put googly eyes on them?
