Great way to ensure that people put googly eyes on statues.

So what I'm hearing is that they should continue attaching googly eyes, but with a non-adhesive material? Maybe use twine or some sort of leather harness?

Googly-goggles!

The people have spoken, those statues need googly eyes.

I'd remove googly eyes from the 7 sculptures for only 1400$.

It probably includes restoring the patina stripped off by the glue.

Given how much of an eyesore most public art is, some googly eyes are probably a big improvement.

The ugly stuff going as "art" here is so horrible, I would not even know where to put those eyes, though.

EDIT: There was something in the newspaper today about an "art club" complaining that currently one of the "art pieces" they had set up with the cities permission is mostly hidden by the Christmas market. While it is obviously made by a renowned artist, most people consider it an eyesore (it looks like an elaborate metal 💩 emoji), and it is one of the prime pigeon toilets in the city. Looks like the birds are properly appreciating it. Using the Christmas market to hide that eyesore lokks like a good idea to me.
