Two of those are 5.56. Two of those are 7.62x51. One of those is an AK.

The g3 platform has several firearms based off it, (I'm blanking on the names right now.), and those weapons have at least several parts that ware transferable. (The bolt and carrier I think.)

Yeah, I'm fun at parties.

Until you need to disassemble it at -5°C in shit weather I guess

The G36 was just so convenient, sucks about the caliber but that was a deliberate choice. Just a fine piece of engineering.

G36 is so easy a monkey can use it. So good it's boring. But I imagine that's more of a quality

Bullpups look cool, regardless of practicality.

The Famas is being retired though. It was fine but expensive.

It's easy to be an arms dealer when the writer decides you simply have the better weapon. Somehow 5.56 out of a carbine at point blank range can't penetrate armor that an MP5 and then a P90 can.

Mpt 55 looks very AR to me

True.

It does have a star and crescent stamped (etched? printed?) on it though =P

Here, does this look too AR 15 to you?

Yes a lot. This is the Spear right? I recently watched a lot of stuff about it. It's very cool. Besides the bolt spring the rest is AR platform. Same buttons same everything. Even they added an AR charging handle because the testing soldiers asked for it.

The interiors are full AR like. Same bolt with same locking mechanism. Standardized mags, same kind of disassembly.

They basically just changes the bolt spring location, from the stock to the too of the bolt (similar to an AK).

Why does this look like you’re building loadouts for Modern Warfare 3?

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Because the whole meme is about the lack of standardization amongst primary infantry battle rifles within NATO (or NATO allies).

So, I continued with Belgium, Australia, Japan and Turkey.

There's a problem when you want war to be cool and stylish
