Probably? He'll definitely take all the credit. He started before he won the election.

I mean, the fucker has literally looked at the camera and told reporters that if something goes well he will take the credit and if it doesn't, it was someone else's fault

Something doesn't even need to be good for him to take credit for it being good. Look at the victory lap he took for his pandemic response, or the results of the 2020 election, or pretty much anything anywhere ever.

That’s the way it always works, regardless of whether you’re talking about a Republican or Democrat. It can be a long time before economic policy changes have a noticeable effect, and whoever is in office when that happens gets the credit or blame.

Anyone taking bets on who he'll blame and fire first when his (and conservatives) economic, social, and geopolitical plans tank the country? I'm betting on Musk getting the boot first before any of that happens, it's hard to imagine two egotistical dumbasses working together for very long. But, after that? Kevin Hassett who's going to lead the National Economic Council.
