just to add: I've barely tried Luanti without mods a couple of years ago, only yesterday did I actually get into it with the intention of playing as a game. So I'm newbie to this, and I did play Minecraft long ago but am also not very experienced

I instaled goblin mod and didnt have any isues so its probably the other one that caused it.. When you install a mod you dont have to apply it to any world. So make new world and apply mod only to that one to test it out, than if it makes no problems you can apply it to your original world. I tryed a couple of mods but nothing caught my attention much, now i use only one mod and thats auto crafter, it works good but not quiet as intended. Hoppers should work with him but they dont for some reason, which makes it 10 times less usefull but still it is better than no autocrafter at all. I dont consider this mode as cheating because autocrafter exists in minecraft and fully funcional to, so i would like to see it implemented in the game with full funkcionality and proper texture since curent one is nothing.
I've been playing on a world with only VoxelLibre and have been enjoying it, no bugs whatsoever
If I wanted to try out just the Goblins mod, could I add it to this already started world, or should I add mods only on new world creation?
You seem to suggest the former, but in that case, where will the Goblins spawn. Maybe also in areas I've already visited?
I haven't yet done any automation, when I get there I might check that mod out, thanks for the suggestion
You can add it to existing world no problem. But here is my expirience wit that. I install some mod and it creates some new blocks or stractures in the world, and than i change my mind and decide i want to remove it because i dont like it. And when i remowe it than problems start. It wont remowe any of new blocks and stractures that mode created so they will all stay in the world after mode is removed. But game doesnt know what those blocks are it doesnt recognise them anymore since mode is gone. So they stay like some unrecognised blocks and you will get constant errors in top left corner of the screen. Saying unknown blocks or something and writing is in red so its not easy to ignore. Since that is to anoying you basicly cant play the game like that and you have to bring mode back and play with it or delete world. So basicly world is scrood if you install some mode that you dont like. I mean it doesnt have to be pike that, some times you remowe mode and i eventyaly you are left with a couple of unrecognised blocks which you just dig out and destroy and there is no more errors but in half of the time you will get some errors. Thats why i tend to test them in a separate world first.
And for goblines mode, it sounds interesting but in my expirience they are too anoying. They spawn ewerywhere literaly and they are diging blocks ewerywhere make a big mess of your mine. Destroy your torches and atack you so its to anoing to play wit it. They should change it quite a bit before its nice and balanced so it can actyalu be fun and usable.. Sory to desapoint but thats my opinion on goblins mode.
thank you for the heads up
No problem 🙂
