I really regretted only buying one the first time around. At least I got the backplate with the dongle storage.

You better jump on this one because there will never be a 3rd. πŸ₯²

I think I missed this perk, I'm pretty sure mine doesn't have it? I'll need to look again. Either way, the dongle vanished ages ago, so I guess it's moot...

I remember them making it available as an STL file for 3d printing but I never saw them selling it directly

Honestly loved my Steam controller. Not even sure what happened to it? I'd definitely buy another one though

I missed out on the original steam controller. Now that I've used the steam deck I will absolutely be picking up a couple of these.

Yesss, I'm happily sitting on my original one. Those things are great.

I thought you were supposed to hold it in your hands

Sometimes you gotta put those haptics to work.

Me too. Excellent controller.

Did not care for the right side touchpad but it worked well enough.

I still use my Steam Controllers, have two. Will definitely be buying their new iteration.

I loved the feedback and how they felt, but damned if I could ever find a practical use for them. I'm glad they're still trying.

I accepted it was going to take time to get used to it so I slapped on Skyrim (or it might have been Oblivion, I can’t remember which) and sunk 40h or so into the Steam Controller with gyro aim and using both touchpads.

Probably had it down by 5 to 10h but you know how it goes with those classic Bethesda games…

What’s crazy is my aim is absurdly better with the Steam Controller vs normal gamepad. Not quite at mouse level but way closer to mouse than gamepad.

Also playing point and click adventure games on the Steam Controller is a total dream. Best way to replay classics on the sofa.
