When this came out last March, it was such a mindblowing experience, compounded by the fact that this was Doom, a now 30-year-old game. Sure, GZDoom gave the aging engine some new tricks, but wow. So many intricacies and subtle nods to other mediums. Getting the final ending after all the trial and error approaches really felt like an accomplishment.

Happiness has to be fought for.

After watching this video and a few other playthroughs, I didn't feel a need to actually play it. But I am thrilled that it exists, and love the idea of someone having the opportunity to play it blind (though how would you even come across it these days if not through exposure via Youtube or other media?).

Such a cool mod.

Yeah nah. Not gonna play this. Watching the video alone gave me the shivers. There is something odd about Doom mods. Just unsettling.
