Probably not super unique but a glass breaker/seatbelt cutter. If I'm in an accident or I come upon one, I want that ability with me.
Made a 5" aluminum baseball bat in high school shop class learning how to use a lathe. It's been on my keys ever since. Things is probably older than most folks reading this.
Post bat or gtfo
Well now I want to see it!
Syringe of thermal paste
I'm now imagining two random strangers meeting in a random place, one of them with an overheating laptop, and asking the other "got some paste?" like smokers sometimes ask for a lighter.
I keep ear plugs in my zip pouch wallet so I'm always ready for any concerts or random loud areas.
I keep a pack of disposable ones in my fanny pack. It's useful because sometimes someone in the group needs em.
I keep a pair of those loop ones in my backpack for the same reason
Not necessarily unique, but I mostly always carry a small pouch containing a full D&D dice set.
I haven't needed dice in... years, now that I think about it, but I carry them as a symbol of luck. Not good luck or bad luck, just luck, chance. Helps me keep things in perspective when everything goes sideways.
You never know when you'll find yourself in a position where there are 20 choices and you just can't decide.
Oh, no, that particular D20 is a drama queen. I'd rather take a guess than trust that die.
...but it's the one you carry everywhere?
Far Cry: Blood Dragon tought me you can use them to distract your enemies.
I do have an XL D100 I bought more as a collectible, treated copper alloy! Think it could be classified as lethal under appropriate use conditions!
A metal red uno reverse card sits in my wallet. It was a gift from my girlfriend and an acknowledgement of our in joke of replying no u to compliments and I love yous.
My granfather's watch.
Keister watch.
At a certain point in time i carried a distinct coin with a scratch mark i made on it so i can flip it and see if i could make it fly (i was heavy into lucir dreaming at the time lmao). Its mostly influence from inception, u can get the same result from just counting your fingers, they look super weird in dreamsπ
How do you do the lucid dreaming stuff?
I've started carrying a fountain pen rather than a typical ballpoint. I think the writing experience is a bit more pleasant.
A crow-calling whistle and a small tin of peanuts.
Presumably the peanuts to lure squirrels, and the whistle to sic your black-feathered demon army on them, you sicko
Iβm indifferent to squirrels... but my city has hired a falconer to scare the crows away with hawks, so now the crows symbolize the oppressed masses being persecuted by the state.
Out there is someone with a hawk-whistle and a jar of raisins. I pray that you too shall never meet.
I doubt the falconer would have any issue with meβIβm helping to keep them employed.
Look, would you stop being reasonable for a second and just fight already?
Thatβs what Iβm secretly training the crows for.
My daily carry bag always includes my Kindle, my cribbage board, and dog treats.
Leaving aside points about driving licence numbers being unique or whatever, it would be the silver pentagram that I made back in the '90s and have worn (or occasionally carry in my wallet etc, when the cord breaks) ever since.
An arch lighter version of a zippo. It fits in traditional zippo cases so I have a collection of shells that I change out to fit the mood. The current one is matte black with a cthulhu theme in brass but normally I use the mercury glass with bones and flowers. My wife calls it my zappo.
Also the severed finger of an elf.
Nothing anymore. But from age 18 to mid 30s I kept my busted up old guitar pick in my wallet.
It had seen way too many shows, and it was brittle as hell. Itβs in a shoebox with since other memories now.
Less unique, I carried around phenergan pills in my pocket for about 10 years. Iβd had an episode of an unknown something setting off a reaction with my throat closing up. Urgent care gave me the pills when I left the hospital and I couldnβt not take them everywhere with me for a long time.
Nail clippers. Got them originally to help with a bad habit of cuticle picking, but I've learned they're weirdly useful. They can cut things in a pinch and no security check gives a shit about them unlike a pocket knife.
An old silver pendant that used to be my mother's. It has a simple yet iconic design, people often notice it and make comments on it.
I have a 3d printed fidget slider and a custom-made worry stone I almost never leave the house without.
perspective
Can you clarify what you mean by "unique"?
Anything from an AA coin to a Zebra statue. Something other than your phone, keys, wallet.
