We managed to wrap up the negotiation arc this episode and transition into the onset of war. It's pretty nice that Rengue isn't so incredibly dumb that he can't realize how dumb he acted. He at least was able to recognize how many parallel universes ahead of him Licia is and ask for her help/advice. If we had to slog through a whole arc to redeem his character, he would have gotten quite annoying quite quickly. @[email protected]

Finally, one thing that continually bothers me about this series is how Ars always gets the credit for the things that he is merely a bystander to. In this case, he didn't even have the concepts of the plan that Licia put together. Then, he was even shown up by Rengue after he put in the work to get Paradille's help. Yet it is always mostly Ars that gets the credit and the shoutout in the speech at the end of the episode. If Ars wasn't self-aware enough to know this, he would be a lot more annoying.
