What the fuck? Every day it’s more absurdity huh?

Is Trump running on his 2020 platform?

From my perspective as a pro-2A person (who is also decidedly left of center), they also couldn't even pass the Hearing Protection Act that would have taken silencers out of the National Firearms Act of 1934. (It made it out of committee, and then the Las Vegas massacre happened, and--despite silencers not being used in the murders--the bill was tabled.) But!, Trump did say he supported seizing guns first and due process second--or never--and his ATF did ban bump stocks (...and that ban was recently thrown out by SCOTUS because a bump stock clearly does not fit the legal definition of a machine gun).

So even the very, very minimally positive things I might have expected from Republicans dominating the gov't didn't happen. He literally could not fucking do the bare minimum.

The Republican National Committee adopted a resolution regarding the platform on August 22, 2020, that reiterated that the party would not adopt a new platform because "it did not want a small contingent of delegates formulating a new platform without the breadth of perspectives within the ever-growing Republican movement." The resolution also noted the party's continued support for Trump's America First agenda.

Funny that you're pretending to care about platforms this time around. Is this just to distract people from the fascist GOP project 2025?

It's also hilarious that the reactionaries can't even get their story straight: first y'all were acting pissed because she "doesn't even have policy stances." Now you're pissed that she is reiterating them. I'm starting to think y'all are just going to cry and bitch about her regardless of her platform.

Cry harder.
