As a kid from divorced parents:
My first comment to my parents in reply when they told me was "about fucking time!"
They were shitty people and being together made them more shitty than apart.
This dude can chew on a bag of scabby syphilitic dildos.
I had a different situation. My dad was a real asshole while my mom was an angel. She deserved so much better, but they never split up. My mom talked about leaving him when I was in my 20s and I told her “do it.”
So much childhood trauma could have been avoided if she had left him.
